As a Policy Adviser with the European Union diplomatic service (EEAS) in Moscow – Little developed a deep understanding of Russia.
Partnering with federal and regional organisations, he designed about forty highly successful policy advisory projects; also playing a key role in the EU/Russia energy dialogue.
Later, worked on long-term international EU civilian/military and military programmes in the Horn of Africa and the Sahel.
In combination with a range of shorter assignments has led to his detailed understanding of how the European Commission operates and thinks.
