Keith’s business training was with Halliburton Geophysical/ Conoco processing oil-field seismic exploration data.

Joining Bechtel in Moscow, he counselled against the advice of a McKinsey study on the viability of the Russia market: explaining the reality of the situation.

Later Bechtel’s engineering team in a new joint venture with Schlumberger and Yukos to co-build a new oil company in the new Priobskoye oil field in West Siberia.

Worked on a range of projects across Eastern Europe, Russia, Central Asia, Ukraine and the Middle-East: including gas field investment in Turkmenistan, the EU’s SyriaMashreq gas masterplan, and energy policy work in Kazakhstan, Ukraine  and Montenegro.
